Residential architecture shaped by place, proportion and the way people live.

3D Visualisation: OR Architecture
We design private homes, significant residential alterations and selected development projects.
Our process begins with the fundamentals: understanding the site, establishing a clear spatial idea and determining how light, landscape, movement and material can work together.
From there, the architecture is progressively resolved from concept through planning, documentation and construction.

A new residence provides an opportunity to consider the project as a complete composition.
We examine orientation, views, landscape, privacy, movement and the relationship between interior and exterior spaces before establishing the architectural form.
The objective is not simply to create a distinctive building, but a home that feels natural to inhabit and particular to its site.

Renovations require a different architectural judgement.
We consider what should be retained, what can be reinterpreted and where contemporary intervention can improve the way the home functions.
Existing character and new architecture need not compete. The strongest outcomes establish a clear relationship between the two.
